Freelance Video Producer – Event NYC

Overview

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced videographer/producer to oversee a one-time interactive live-streaming event in New York City. The role involves managing the full production of a live "date" session, scheduled for Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm. The session will be structured into 1 minute 30 second segments, each concluding with a live public vote, requiring seamless coordination and technical expertise.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in live streaming, event videography, and interactive audience engagement, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for both participants and viewers.

• Set up and manage all technical aspects of the live stream, including audio, video, and lighting.
• Operate and monitor the live stream using platforms such as OBS, Streamlabs, or vMix.
• Facilitate interactive viewer engagement, including managing live chat and coordinating public voting segments.
• Provide high-quality recordings of the session and basic engagement metrics post-event.
• Ensure a professional, sensitive approach throughout the event, maintaining a positive experience for all involved.

• Proven experience in live streaming and event videography, preferably with interactive formats.
• Proficiency with live streaming software (OBS, Streamlabs, vMix) and major platforms (Twitch, You Tube Live, Vimeo).
• Ability to manage live audio/video feeds and troubleshoot technical issues in real time.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate live audience participation.
• Must be available onsite in New York City on the specified date and time.
• Own streaming channel and necessary equipment for high-quality production.
