Job Overview

Page Six is seeking a sharp, reality TV‑obsessed content creator and writer to join its fast‑paced team, with a dedicated focus on its vertical, Virtual Reali‑Tea. This role is for someone who doesn’t just watch reality TV, they live it! You know the casts, the feuds, the timelines, and the fan theories as they unfold in real time. If your group chats rely on you for every reality TV update, then this is your role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate across the Virtual Reali-Tea editorial and social teams to ideate and execute platform‑specific content that drives engagement, fuels growth and leads the conversation.
  • Pitch, write, and produce timely content for maximum reach across online and social, from breaking news to viral moments and deeper cultural takes.
  • Monitor social media platforms (Instagram, Tik Tok, X, Reddit) to identify trending conversations, fan theories, and emerging storylines.
  • Be able to rapidly turn breaking moments into stories and social video explainers.
  • Work closely with hosts Danny Murphy and Evan Real to identify the most compelling angles from their interviews and quickly turn them into multi‑media formats, including must‑read articles, video, and social media commentary.
  • Cover red carpets and premieres ensuring we get the most news‑worthy and entertaining interviews, stories and video to advance our coverage.
  • Appear on camera, when needed, to deliver commentary, explainers or quick‑hit reactions to breaking reality TV moment.
  • Collaborate with online, video and social teams to ensure content is platform‑native and built for shareability.
Who You Are
  • Deeply knowledgeable and genuinely obsessed with reality TV across networks and streamers (Bravo, Netflix, Peacock, etc.).
  • Chronically online in the best way, you instinctively know what’s trending and why.
  • An exceptionally strong multimedia storyteller and producer who can match Page Six's unique voice, and create viral visuals and commentary that travels across the Page Six/VRT network.
  • Think in video first. You instinctively see the clip, the hook and the moment that drives to the story.
  • Quick, accurate, and able to turn around clean copy and scripts on a tight deadline.
  • A creative thinker who can spot the headline and trends and stay ahead of the fandoms.
  • Collaborative and comfortable working across multiple editorial departments, including news, SEO, video and social teams.
Bonus Points
  • Past experience covering entertainment or celebrity news.
  • A network of sources and contacts across the reality TV universe including with publicists and talent.

Requirements

On‑site work model:
The New York Post adheres to an on‑site work model. This role will be expected to report into the office five days per week.

Base Pay Range: $75,000 – $85,000. Compensation may vary based on candidate experience, skills and location.
