Fashion Director – Victoria's Secret
At Victoria's Secret & Co, you'll join a world‑leading specialty retail brand recognized globally for innovation and excellence in lingerie and fashion. You'll work alongside industry leaders to set the standard for what a retail brand can achieve, placing customers at the center of everything we do to create products and experiences that bring them joy.
Responsibilities- Shape and elevate the brand's fashion point of view to inspire customers through compelling product storytelling.
- Partner closely with cross‑functional leadership across creative, merchandising, design, and marketing to ensure the initial concept and vision are defined and carried through the entire creative process to final delivery across all channels.
- Collaborate with the creative and marketing team leads to produce compelling fashion stories that highlight key seasonal messages and business goals.
- Lead and mentor the creative team.
- Act as the expert on product and intended expression to the consumer.
- Direct the product look selection process and the creation of the Seasonal Outfitting Deck, ensuring product benefits, attributes, and volume potential align with business and product priorities.
- Share post‑shoot outfitting updates with broader marketing and merchandising teams.
- Partner with the AVP, Fashion in the creation of seasonal key Big Idea and Pillar product distortions for Product POV milestones, reviewing assortments for all tiers to protect big idea design outfitting stories at inception.
- Ensure all team outfitting deliverables drive business goals with a campaign‑first, creative‑first, and customer‑first mindset.
- Present to internal leaders at the VP+ level.
- Minimum 12+ years of experience in a fashion‑relevant role (marketing, visual merchandising, styling, creative, merchandising).
- Deep understanding of visual merchandising, editorial photography, social media, and the digital space and how to build the best product experience in all channels.
- Strong leadership and consensus‑building skills, with a willingness to embrace personal and professional development.
- Proven experience leading and developing a team of creative professionals, and working across indirect reports and cross‑functional partners.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across creative, technical, and operational partners.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and change; able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, shared digital systems, Keynote, and Adobe Creative Suite required.
- Substantial travel may be required.
- Ability to work in our New York City office required.
