We are seeking an Associate Producer to lead our new Women’s Basketball Vertical on social media! Whether around CBS or non‑CBS programming, they will be the voice of our new brand during major moments in women’s basketball. In addition to covering live games and studio shows, they will closely collaborate with production to extend our on‑air presence to social.
Your Day‑to‑Day:- Cover CBS Sports WNBA and Women’s college basketball games live on social media
- Work directly with CBS Sports’ WNBA studio team to post show clips and create original content featuring talent
- Optimize and distribute segments from WNBA studio shows to all platforms
- Work with designers and video editors to react to major news across women’s basketball
- Create photoshops and videos from scratch via Adobe Creative Suite Products when necessary
- Build and execute weekly promotional plans for CBS Sports WNBA programming
- Act as key point of contact for social around WNBA with various departments, including Programming, Marketing, and Communications
- At least two years of work experience in social media, digital production, or sports media
- Experience managing Instagram, Tik Tok, X, Threads, and Facebook accounts
- Extreme passion for WNBA and women’s college basketball
- Bachelor Degree in Electronic Communications, Sports Media, or a similar field preferred
- Willingness to adapt working schedule to cover prime time WNBA game hours on nights and weekends
- Ability to work under extremely fast turnaround times
- Collaborative spirit to ingrain yourself into a wider team
- Grasp of Adobe Creative Suite and hunger to improve your craft
- Exceptional writing ability and a proficient understanding of English grammar
Hiring Salary Range: $60,000.00 – 75,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job‑related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
