Who You AreWe are seeking a highly creative, detail-oriented Social Media Content Creator & Marketer to join our dynamic team in NYC. This role is pivotal in driving our brand's digital presence and expanding our market reach. As a key contributor, you will play an essential role in bridging the gap between creative storytelling and strategic execution.
If you are completely confident behind an iPhone, know exactly how to stop a user from scrolling, and understand how to turn views into brand growth, we want you on our team.
What You'll Do- Content Capture: Shoot high-quality, engaging vertical video content daily using an iPhone.
- Video Editing: Edit fast-paced, native-feeling short-form videos optimized for modern audiences.
- Platform Growth: Create, post, and optimize Reels and Tik Toks that actually perform and drive engagement.
- Campaign Strategy: Support and execute our content calendar, learning how high-level strategy drives creative output.
- Brand Visibility: Ensure all visual assets align with our core brand guidelines and aesthetic identity.
- Trend Spotting: Monitor Tik Tok, Reels, and social trends daily to swiftly pivot and capitalize on viral moments.
- Performance Tracking: Utilize analytics tools to track video performance metrics and report on audience growth.
- Collaborative Execution: Work closely with our sales and product teams to turn business goals into creative campaigns
- Creative Visionary: Highly creative individual with a sharp, artistic eye for detail and aesthetics.
- iPhone Native: Complete confidence behind an iPhone, utilizing advanced camera features and mobile lighting.
- Editing Pro: Expert-level proficiency in mobile editing apps (e.g., Cap Cut, Splice, or Premiere Rush).
- Algorithm Intuition: Proven track record of creating short-form videos that hook viewers in the first 3 seconds.
- Organization
Skills:
Strong ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and organize raw assets. - Platform Mastery: Deep understanding of Tik Tok and Instagram algorithms, audio trends, and community management.
- Communication
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on witty or engaging copy.
Experience:
- Short-form video creation (Tik Tok/Reels): 1-2 years (Required)
- Mobile video editing: 1-2 years (Required)
Salary Range: $50k- $90k
