As the Art Director, Style Social
, reporting to the Associate Creative Director (Art), Style Social
, you’ll help concept, design, and produce social-first creative that brings the company’s Style to life across fashion, beauty, and home. You’ll partner closely with writers, designers, content creators, and producers to craft modern, relevant, and aspirational visual worlds that engage audiences and elevate the company’s Style presence across platforms like Instagram, Tik Tok, and Pinterest
.
The ideal candidate has a strong eye for visual storytelling in social and digital environments, a passion for culture and trends, and experience in fashion, home, or beauty content creation. You’ll be both a hands-on maker and a collaborative creative partner.
Responsibilities- Contribute to the development of social-first concepts and visual storytelling that elevate the company as a Style destination and resonate authentically with fashion, beauty, and home audiences.
- Collaborate on concept development, design, and execution of social content, campaign assets, and influencer/editorial work streams.
- Support Associate Creative Director and Creative Director in the creation of mood boards, pre-production decks, storyboards, and shoot materials.
- Be able to shoot content on iPhone.
- Participate in on-set art direction, ensuring creative feels modern, relevant, and true to brand.
- Partner with designers, editors, and motion artists to deliver seamless executions.
- Show curiosity and initiative—actively contribute ideas and help push creative thinking forward.
- Stay current on cultural, design, and social trends that can inspire fresh creative thinking.
- Champion the look and feel of Style on social, ensuring all content feels inspiring, polished, and unmistakably the company.
- Translate campaign concepts and seasonal style moments into content that feels native to each platform.
- Ensure design and creative execution align with the company’s visual identity and social voice.
- Manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced social environment, maintaining high standards while meeting deadlines.
- Partner with Creative Account Management and Production to keep timelines tight and projects organized.
- 3–5 years of experience in art direction, design, or content creation—in fashion, beauty, or home.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating social-first creative, visual storytelling, and brand design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Google Slides, and Microsoft Office
. - Understanding of social platforms, cultural trends, and influencer content.
- Experience collaborating with photographers, stylists, and content creators.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Art Direction, Communications, or related field preferred.
Portfolios and social media feeds must demonstrate experience with fashion, beauty, or lifestyle content.
Compensation: The target hiring compensation range for this role is $72.00 to $74.00. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
