ABOUT THE CAMPAIGNS TEAM

The Campaigns team is a leading Democratic political consulting and direct mail firm with a record of winning tough races. We have an in‑house creative studio that specializes in brand strategy, copywriting, design and direct mail production. We serve as creative partners to our clients, helping them solve their biggest challenges from brainstorming to creative production and execution. Together, we’re a team of strategists, copywriters, branding experts, and designers.

THIS ROLE

Berlin Rosen is seeking a Graphic Designer to join the Berlin Rosen Campaigns (BRC) team as we staff up for the 2026 election season. You have proven design expertise and a deep interest in politics, with the ability to independently translate abstract messages into high‑impact direct mail, canvassing literature, digital and social media ads and other creative products.

Role duration: This is a temporary, full‑time position running from May 2026 through October 23, 2026.

Role location: This role is based in our New York, N.Y. office on a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week in the office, though remote candidates based in the United States may be considered.

ACCOUNTABILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

As a Graphic Designer on the BRC team, you will assist the art‑direction, production and execution of direct‑mail pieces for politically driven campaigns.

  • Collaborate with Art Directors and account team members on multiple campaigns to produce and edit eye‑catching, high‑impact direct mail and other campaign materials.
  • Regularly meet tight deadlines for a diverse range of candidates running for office.
  • Find solutions to feedback that maintain strong layouts, branding, and design hierarchy.
  • Actively participate in visual concepts for mail.
  • Organize and maintain project files.

Essential skills:

  • 3‑5 years of experience with print design and art direction in an agency setting (or comparable environment).
  • Experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Detail‑oriented, efficient, organized, highly productive, and collaborative approach to work with strong time‑management skills.
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced work environment and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work extended hours, including nights and weekends, during peak periods.
  • Can adapt under pressure and quickly pivot priorities to meet last‑minute deadlines.

Orchestra offers temporary (non‑immigrant) work visas for new and existing employees and green card sponsorship for existing staff.
