Location: New York
The United Federation Of Teachers is seeking a skilled writer and copy editor to join their Communications Department in New York City. This role focuses on producing news stories, editorials, and content for digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in reporting or non-profit communications and excellent writing and editing skills.
The Communications Department produces a range of materials including emails and articles to engage union members. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of public school systems and city politics. This is a full-time position with occasional after-hours work as needed.
