We are looking for an experienced Senior Apparel Designer to join our girls’ design team.
This is a hands‑on position. The candidate must be proficient in designing Girls' 2-16 sportswear and can create their own artwork.
SUMMARY- Work closely with Head Designer, Sales, Technical, and Production Departments to develop fashion products that are appropriate for the mass market.
- Create and update Line Sheets and Tech packs.
- Daily commenting on sample submissions, including garments, artwork, lab dip, and trims.
- Research fashion trends and adapt for the mass market.
- Manage product development from design concept to Pre-Production sample approval.
- Create the Production artwork and Tech-Packs
- Degree in Fashion Design
- Minimum of 5 years of design experience in the girls’ fashion sportswear market
- Proficient knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop for Mac.
- Broad experience working with different types of fabrics, including knits, wovens, denim, and sweaters.
- Experience designing a variety of products, including tops, bottoms, dresses, sets, rompers, etc.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, sewing, and printing techniques
