Sandra Darren and Robbie Bee are growing and expanding our Design team. We are seeking a talented CAD Artist / Textile Print Designer to join our Midtown Manhattan office.

This role is ideal for a creative artist with a strong eye for color, print, and trend who can develop original artwork for women's dresses.

• Create original textile prints and engineered print layouts for dress collections
• Research trends, vintage references, artwork, and other inspiration sources to develop fresh print concepts
• Translate design inspiration into unique, proprietary artwork that captures the desired mood and aesthetic while remaining original and copyrightable
• Develop print colorways and seasonal print assortments
• Prepare production ready CADs, print repeats, and artwork packages
• Collaborate closely with Design, Merchandising, and Product Development teams
• Create presentation boards, print packages, and artwork specifications for factories
• Maintain awareness of fashion, color, print, and market trends

• 5+ years of experience in textile print design, CAD design, or fashion print development
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Ability to create original artwork, hand painted effects, and unique print concepts rather than simply adapting existing prints
• Strong understanding of print repeats, placement prints, engineered prints, and color development
• Excellent sense of color, trend, and fashion aesthetics
• Experience in women's apparel, dress category preferred
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

We are looking for a creative print designer who can take inspiration from a mood board, vintage reference, artwork, or trend direction and transform it into beautiful, original prints that are commercially viable and exclusive to our brands.

The ideal candidate understands how to capture the essence and feeling of an inspiration source while creating fresh, unique artwork that can be owned and copyrighted by the company.
