About rag & bone

From our origins in New York in 2002, rag & bone was founded on a belief of uncompromising ideals: a commitment to doing things the right way, not the easy way. To making things that are as original as they are timeless. To being true to ourselves, even when that truth sets us apart from the mainstream.

We still believe in the same principles we started with: the easy elegance of classic British tailoring, the authenticity of American workwear, and the originality of our home city, New York. As New Yorkers, community and authenticity have become synonymous with our brand. An inclusive environment at rag & bone upholds our original values by encouraging employee connection and empowering each individual to have a voice on policy, process and collaboration.

Job Summary

Rag & bone is seeking a Producer to lead the end-to-end production of campaign editorial and e-commerce shoots across all channels. This is a pivotal in‑house role that sits at the intersection of creative and creative operations. In this role, the ideal candidate will ensure that every shoot is executed to the highest standard, on time and on budget, while preserving the brand’s aesthetic vision.

You will work closely with the Creative Director, brand marketing teams, and external resources to manage a high volume of seasonal campaigns, lookbooks, e-commerce shoots, and editorial projects. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of production experience, strong vendor relationships, and a calm, solutions‑oriented approach to managing multiple deliverables.

Responsibilities Production & Project Management
  • Own the full production lifecycle for campaign and editorial shoots — from brief through to final delivery.
  • Build and manage detailed production schedules, call sheets, and run‑of‑show documents.
  • Oversee all logistics including location scouting and permitting, talent and crew booking, styling coordination, catering, and travel.
  • Partner with Creative Directors and Art Directors to translate creative briefs into executable production plans.
  • Lead pre‑production meetings and on‑set management for shoots of all scales.
  • Understanding of film and video production and post production a plus.
Budget & Vendor Management

  • Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with photographers, directors, studios, casting agencies, location agencies, and post‑production vendors.
  • Identify cost‑saving opportunities without compromising creative quality.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Serve as the central point of contact between Creative, Marketing, Merchandising, and Digital teams throughout the production process.
  • Manage post‑production workflows including image selection, retouching briefs, and asset delivery timelines.
  • Maintain a master production calendar and proactively flag capacity and resource constraints.
  • Mentor and guide junior members of the production team.
Requirements
  • 8–10 years of production experience, with experience in an in‑house role at a fashion or lifestyle brand.
  • Demonstrated experience producing high‑profile campaign shoots (print, digital, video) with significant budget responsibility.
  • Deep knowledge of the production ecosystem — crew, talent agencies, studios, and locations in key markets (New York, LA, Europe).
  • Exceptional project management and organisational skills; able to manage multiple concurrent projects at pace.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing complex vendor relationships.
  • Proficiency in production management and asset management tools (e.g. Airtable, Air, Excel).
  • Confident communicator who can operate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
  • A genuine passion for fashion, photography, and visual storytelling.
