Voice Recording Specialist (AI Training) About The Role
What if the sound of your voice could directly shape how AI speaks with millions of people around the world? We're looking for Voice Recording Specialists to record natural speech samples that help train the next generation of AI speech systems — making them sound more human, more natural, and more expressive. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with a clear speaking voice and a reasonably quiet space to record.
No voice acting experience, no studio setup, and no technical background required — just your voice and a willingness to speak naturally.

- Record clear, natural voice samples by reading provided scripts and responding to conversational prompts
- Vary your tone, pacing, and delivery style as directed to capture a range of expressive speech
- Ensure recordings are clean, clear, and free of background noise
- Complete metadata forms to describe and tag each recording session
- Participate in both scripted and free-form conversational recording sessions
- Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule
- Clear, natural speaking voice — no performance training needed
- Access to a quiet space where you can record without significant background noise
- A microphone, headset, or smartphone capable of capturing good-quality audio
- Comfortable reading aloud and being recorded
- Reliable and self‑motivated when working independently
- No voice acting, audio production, or AI experience required
- Experience in podcasting, broadcasting, teaching, or public speaking
- Familiarity with audio recording tools or software
- Ability to speak in multiple accents, dialects, or registers
- Background in performance, communications, or media
- Work on cutting‑edge AI projects alongside leading research labs
- Fully remote and flexible — record when and where it suits you
- Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, task‑based work
