Job Description
Only qualified Asst Graphic Designer candidates located near Manhattan, NY to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence.
Our client is the world's largest intimates' specialty retailer offering a wide assortment of modern, fashion-inspired collections including signature bras, panties, lingerie, casual sleepwear, swim and athleisure, as well as award-winning prestige fragrances and body care.
Preferred Education- BFA in Graphic Design or relevant experience with a proven history of commercially successful graphics
- Minimum 3-5 years graphic design experience in a related field
- Strong knowledge of Adobe CC programs for Mac OS including Illustrator, InDesign, & Photoshop.
- CAD and packaging/apparel graphics
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong verbal and digital communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with typographic layouts and file naming/organization.
- Previous packaging and apparel graphics experience is a plus.
- Illustration skills are a plus.
The Associate Designer will work with the Senior Designer on product graphics across all categories.
Responsibilities- Supports the Senior Designer in the creation of brand-right, commercial designs that reflect the conceptual direction/business strategy.
- Create seasonal graphics and icons from concept to execution for all categories and special product launches.
- Research and develop elevated graphic and surface techniques to push innovation.
- Use seasonal color palettes in graphic concepts to effectively provide color direction for cross functional partners.
- Assist Print team with creating seasonal assets for prints and patterns.
- Work with cross-functional teams to create branded, trims, elastics, and hardware across all categories of apparel, intimates, sleep, and accessories.
- Maintain organization of seasonal branding requests and libraries utilizing tools such as InDesign, Smartsheet, and file servers.
- Create and edit presentations for seasonal concepts, branding, and special projects.
- Partner with Surface, Print, and CAD teams to archive graphics for production.
- Understand the client visual DNA and use of graphic assets as it relates to products, branding, and packaging.
- Local shopping trips and campus visits.
