Tanya Taylor is a New York-based womenswear brand whose mission is to inspire all women to live in color. We are looking for a PR and Influencer Marketing Intern who is passionate, hardworking, detail oriented and a creative thinker to join our Creative/Marketing Team. This internship is unpaid so candidates must be able to receive academic credit.
- Learn how an in‑house creative team handles all aspects of the job including creative conceptualization and presentation, AD mood boarding, collateral/asset design, UX/UI design, season launches, photography, videography, minor retouching, social design, retail design, and cross‑team creative design.
- Learn how a small core team collaborates within a growing company.
- Understand how the role of graphic design and art direction functions within contemporary fashion.
- Design general collateral across email, web, paid media, and social media.
- Assist in mood boarding and initial design conceptualization for events, retail, and miscellaneous collateral.
- Conceptualize and present art direction ideas for new design briefs.
- Assist in the conceptualization and development of seasonal asset needs across photography and videography.
- Help with minor retouching.
- Research competitors and make suggestions for graphic design and art direction.
- Available in 2‑3 full days a week or 4‑5 half days a week.
- Must be able to receive academic credit.
- Strong interest in the fashion industry.
- Passionate about graphic design and art direction.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and is professional and reliable.
- Have access to a computer / laptop with reliable access to the internet.
- Proficient in the Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat), Figma, and Google Drive suite of tools.
