Unity For Equality is a non-for-profit community based organization. Our mission is to empower and integrate underserved communities and other immigrants into the civic and economic life. We assist individuals and families in the areas of advocating for social justice, boosting civic engagement, educational opportunities, healthcare access for all, and senior support services.

The digital and design associate is involved in graphic design, illustrators, digital/multimedia and information resource designers, digital communication and media/multimedia, and also writing. In this role, you would be writing newsletter articles, designing the newsletter, designing ads, designing mailers, social media development, photography & videography, multimedia creation and marketing.

• Designing the newsletter
• Designing ads, mailers and magazines
• Designing logos and mock-ups
• Engaging in social media development
• Multimedia creation and marketing

• Detail-oriented, organized, and deadline-driven
• Able to effectively communicate
• Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently with purpose and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of typography, kerning, tracking and graphic design
• Knowledge of design program like Indesign and Canva
