Location: New York
Music Directors Needed for After-School Theatre Programs
KJK Productions is seeking music directors to add to our roster for elementary and middle school after-school theatre programs presenting junior versions of musical productions in Westchester County, NY for the school year. Production ScheduleMost schools rehearse after‑school on Mondays through Fridays for two consecutive weeks, with performances on the second Saturday of the program.
Responsibilities- Teach, coach, and review music with elementary school students in grades K–8
- Accompany rehearsals and performances live on piano or run accompaniment tracks for rehearsals and shows
- Collaborate on a variety of musical productions (titles vary by school)
- Experience working with children is required
- Background in theatre education is preferred
- Obtaining NYS fingerprint clearance and background check is required
- Round‑trip transit provided via Metro‑North railroad or car from Upper Manhattan if NYC-based
- Travel stipend negotiable for applicants based outside NYC
