The New Amsterdam Singers, a 60-person avocational chorus based on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, is seeking an Assistant Conductor to support rehearsals, performances, and musical preparation for the season.
Responsibilities include attending weekly rehearsals, assisting the Music Director with sectional rehearsals and concert preparation, and conducting when needed. This is a 1099 contractor position, typically lasting 1-3 seasons.
