Junior Product Designer

Jr Product Designer - Brooklyn, NY

We design and make physical products, not software or digital applications. The junior designer will work as a member of the design team on a variety of projects, including product research and development, creating product specifications, rendering, and packaging. You will collaborate independently and within the team to bring creative concepts to a corporate setting while developing technical and leadership skills.

• Product research and development, creating product specs, renderings, and packaging.
• Brainstorming new product and design ideas with the team and critiquing each other’s work.
• Creating mock‑ups of new products for customers.
• Assisting with design presentations for the sales and marketing teams.
• Co‑ordinating with other designers to ensure projects stay on track with timelines.

• Completed degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Communication Design, or Illustration.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign (essential).
• Very strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively under short deadlines.
• Self‑starter, proactive, and motivated.
• Extremely detail oriented.
• Creative problem‑solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Comfortable commuting to Industry City in Brooklyn two times a week (Tuesday/Thursday).
