ICER Brands is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer who can develop tech packs for overseas production to join our Design team. The ideal candidate has experience in licensed apparel and wholesale product development, with the ability to create accurate technical packages for overseas manufacturing partners. The Designer most also have knowledge in sizing and placing graphics on garments for production purposes.
The Designer will collaborate closely with Design, Product Development, Production, and overseas factories to ensure products meet customer expectations, licensing requirements, and production standards.
- Create detailed production-ready Tech Packs for all assigned styles.
- Prepare accurate garment flats using Adobe Illustrator.
- Develop and maintain:
- Understand measurement specifications (Cut & Sew)
- Sewing instructions
- Artwork placement
- Trim and label placement
- Packaging requirements
- Wash and finishing details
- Ensure all technical packages are complete and ready for factory development.
- Update technical packages throughout the sampling process.
- Keen eye for sizing graphics to be placed properly on all garment silhouettes.
- Help ensure all products comply with licensor guidelines and brand standards.

- Incorporate required revisions from licensors into final production packages.
- Maintain consistency across all licensed programs.
- Collaborate with Spec Department and Production to resolve and update technical and manufacturing challenges.
- Work closely with Licensing, Graphics, Merchandising, and Sourcing teams throughout development.
- Communicate daily with overseas factories regarding sample development, construction, and production questions.
- Communicate and provide revisions and technical corrections to overseas factories.
- Support customer meetings by preparing product presentations and development updates.
- Review prototype, fit, salesman, and production samples.
- Assist in resolving production issues while maintaining quality standards.
- Ensure all styles remain on schedule to meet customer delivery dates.
- Maintain organized style files and development records.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, or related field preferred.
- 3–7 years of apparel design and technical design experience.
- Experience with in the wholesale apparel industry required.
- Licensed apparel experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of garment construction and manufacturing.
- Experience working with overseas factories.
- Ability to manage multiple brands, retailers, and seasonal calendars simultaneously.
