We are looking for a motivated Associate Photo Editor to join the groundbreaking online news team for  This position is a Monday‑Friday 11:00

AMET – 7:00

PMET shift; hours are subject to change. You must be available to work alternate hours, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed.

• Editing and optimizing original photography and video for web and devices
• Booking travel for photographers
• Assigning photographers to assignments
• Assisting with handling invoices and tracking billing
• Adhering to, and auditing detailed SEO requirements
• Incorporating edits from supervisors
• Utilizing real‑time analytics tools to track the success of photo & video‑driven stories
• Creating and updating slideshows to capture important and compelling events
• Communicating with news professionals in an assignment desk setting
• Maintaining a database of contacts and story ideas
• Working with all verticals, including Entertainment, U.S. News, Lifestyle, Business, and World teams by pitching visual stories and pulling in wire and partner content
• Monitoring social media platforms and forums for the latest breaking or trending news items of interest to Fox News readers
• Multitasking on tight deadlines in a high‑pressure environment
• Prioritizing assignments and meeting deadlines

• Bachelor’s degree in political science, communications, journalism, graphic arts or a related discipline
• One year of experience in a daily breaking news environment
• Ability to work under deadline pressures with editors and reporters
• Willingness and ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays
• Proven creative mind with a great eye for detail
• Experience in Photoshop, Premiere, Bridge, and/or Lightroom
• Prior experience working in a DAM or CMS is highly desired
• Interest in photography is a plus

The pay rate is $60,000.00 – $75,000.00 annually, with the final offer dependent on education, skills, experience, and location. This role is eligible for various benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for union‑represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
