POSITION SUMMARYThe Junior Copywriter will deliver on-brand, performance-driving copy and proofreading skills to the John Hardy creative team. Reporting into the senior copywriter, this person will work cross functionally with the creative, merch and site teams to write, update and maintain user experience enhancing site copy, seasonal product description copy, and product names on and wholesale accounts.
Working under tight deadlines in a fast-paced remote environment, this role requires a dedication to the craft of writing and a demonstrated interested in fashion and/or jewelry.
This position will begin as a freelance engagement with the potential to transition into a permanent role based on business needs and performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Write product copy and product names for and wholesale accounts
- Support site team with UX copy on , including FAQ, shipping/returns copy, and size guides
- Write loyalty and clienteling copy in support of John Hardy boutiques
- Write paid ad copy for creative across meta channels: IG, FB and Tiktok
- Write global and wholesale event & trunk show invitations & newsletters
- Own day-to-day site, email and SMS QA
