DESCRIPTION

Director

The Director will lead the creative execution of SPARK, collaborating closely with the Writer, Producer/department heads to bring the project’s vision to screen.

Responsibilities include directing actors, planning shot coverage with the Director of Photography, overseeing rehearsals, and ensuring strong storytelling and performances throughout production.

The ideal candidate has experience directing narrative film or television and excels in collaboration and leadership.

Production Sound Mixer / Boom Operator

The Production Sound Mixer / Boom Operator will be responsible for capturing clean, professional dialogue and on‑set audio throughout production.

This role includes operating sound recording equipment, booming dialogue, monitoring audio quality, troubleshooting sound issues, and working closely with the Director and Director of Photography to ensure seamless production. Experience with professional location sound recording is preferred.

The 1st Assistant Director is responsible for maintaining the production schedule and ensuring efficient on‑set operations. Duties include coordinating cast and crew, managing the daily shooting schedule, assisting with call sheets, maintaining set safety, tracking production progress, and working closely with the Director and Producer to keep filming on time. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills are essential

The Stunt Coordinator will be responsible for designing, choreographing, and supervising all physical action sequences to ensure they are executed safely and convincingly. This production includes a choreographed bar fight sequence involving principal performers and background actors, requiring careful planning, rehearsals, and on‑set supervision. The Stunt Coordinator will work closely with the Director, 1st Assistant Director, and Producer to maintain safety standards while achieving the desired cinematic action.

Prior experience coordinating staged combat for film or television is strongly preferred.

Gaffer (Chief Lighting Technician)

The Gaffer is responsible for leading the lighting department and bringing the Director and Director of Photography’s visual vision to life. Responsibilities include setting up, positioning, operating, and striking lighting equipment, managing power distribution, modifying lighting throughout production, and ensuring all lighting is safely installed and maintained on set. The Gaffer will collaborate closely with the Director of Photography to create cinematic lighting for both interior and exterior scenes while maintaining an efficient workflow.

Experience with narrative film lighting, professional lighting equipment, and on‑set electrical safety is strongly preferred.
