Hiring a Vocal Music Coach and a Musical Theater Director/Choreographer for MEAN GIRLS Jr

Unity Stage Company is looking for 2 Independent Contractors for our 2026/27 production of MEAN GIRLS Jr. We need an inspiring, responsible Vocal Music Director for MEAN GIRLS Jr to Teach, Coach and Review the music for youth in grades 5 thru 10. In operation since 2010 our most recent productions are The Little Mermaid Jr, Dear Edwina Jr, Annie KIDS, Oliver Jr, and Shrek Jr.

We need our Vocal Music Director to be comfortable accompanying live or teaching using MTI provided rehearsal tracks.
We also need a Teaching Artist with recent experience Directing kids/teens in musical theater shows. Ideally you have at least basic choreography skills, MEAN GIRLS Jr! is not necessarily a dance heavy show, more coordinated group movement. Rehearsals and performances take place in Jackson Heights, Queens on lovely 82nd Street. Our two-hour rehearsal sessions are on Sundays 4:30 to 6:30pm. Shows perform May 1st and May 2nd, 2027.
