The Hadestown 2nd National Tour is looking for Non-AFM Musicians for the upcoming leg of the tour, with NYC rehearsals starting mid-September 2026.

  On/about October 13, 2026

$900/week minimum, plus applicable extras – AMD Negotiable

Provided with first move to tech location on/about October 5th, 2026 - Producer-provided housing single or double with sliding per diem at musician discretion.

• Comfort with pop/jazz playing in the pocket with a rhythm section.
• Pop rhythm sensibility is a must.
• Some comfort with improvising.
• Strong intonation in mixed sections (violin, cello, trombone).
• A vibrant stage performer with a soloist presence.
• Track is onstage, in costume.
• We are also seeking an Associate MD, with strong keyboard skills a must, and piano/string doublers are encouraged to apply.

• Trombone is a centerpiece in this show.
• Seeking a vibrant stage performer.
• Track is onstage, in costume.
• Trombone book doubles on glockenspiel, so basic piano knowledge is key.

• Jazz/pop background a must.
• Book is for upright bass only.
• Must be comfortable with occasional arco playing.
• Seeking a vibrant stage performer.
• Track is onstage, in costume.

• Steel string acoustic, primarily finger picking.
• Must be experienced player of Americana/jazz/swing/blues/Travis-picking.
• Book includes unique aspects of prepared guitar (wire and foam mutes) as well as improvisation.
• Basic reading is a major plus.
• A featured role for a confident player.
• Track is onstage, in costume.
