## Part-Time Social Media Assistant for Film + Style Field To Frame Posted about 18 hours agoSave this Listing---Freelance New York City Cobble Hill, BROOKLYNRemote-friendly $20-$40I’m looking for an emerging social media creator who is genuinely interested in the intersection of documentary film, fashion, journalism, culture and visual storytelling.

The work will span two connected but distinct creative worlds:
• My filmmaking account, including documentary work, cinematography, festivals, works in progress and behind-the-scenes material  
• Field to Frame, including styling, independent and vintage fashion, client transformations, designer relationships, visual research and the stories clothing can tell

The role could include:
• Editing short-form video from existing footage and new material  
• Creating reels, carousels, stories and other visually thoughtful posts  
• Helping organize and revisit a large archive of film, festival and styling work  
• Drafting or shaping captions while learning the distinct voice of each account  
• Helping maintain a realistic and consistent posting rhythm  
• Occasionally documenting fittings, shoots, events or studio work in person  
• Bringing your own creative ideas to the collaborationI’m especially interested in someone who:
• Loves both film and style, and does not see them as unrelated worlds  
• Has a strong visual eye and an instinct for narrative  
• Has experience editing video for social platforms  
• Is interested in people, process and culture, not only polished final images  
• Values ethical, human-centered storytelling  
• Is organized, communicative and comfortable working independently  
• Has a sense of humor and does not default to generic or corporate contentI want to collaborate with someone who understands that social media can still be cinematic, specific, curious, funny and human while respecting the people and stories behind the images.

The position is flexible and will be shaped partly around the right person’s interests and strengths. No two weeks will look exactly alike. Most work can be completed remotely, with occasional paid in-person work in New York. Local travel required for in-person assignments will be reimbursed.
