COPYWRITER ​/ PROOFREADER

This person will oversee copy operations for all accounts. Working with Sales/ Product team /Dept. Managers/This can be for a recent grad with exp. in copywriting or 2 plus years experience with a proofreading/ copywriting portfolio

This role focuses specifically on copywriting for product packaging and labeling.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who can produce results-driven product copy in a supportive, but fast-paced environment.

• Lead copy development across all accounts in the Bath & Beauty department
• Able to write instructional and promotional copy for dept.
• Proofread all final art layouts before production for spelling and grammatical errors
• Generate catchy phrasing tailored to different target audiences
• Collaborate with art department to make all necessary revisions
• Stay up to date on best industry practices for product copywriting
• Communicate clearly and effectively with factories in China
• Work with internal teams to stay up to date on changing regulatory standards and ensure compliance is met for all products
• Any experience in product or promotional copywriting would be a plus
