We are building for the future of digital media: creator-led, audience-first, and designed to resonate across platforms.

The Role

We are looking for an Editorial & Production Intern to support our research, reporting, and production teams. This role is ideal for a journalism student, graduate student, or recent graduate interested in investigative storytelling, digital media, documentary and explainer journalism.

Interns will contribute to the editorial process from idea to publication, researching stories, fact-checking scripts, visualizing data, assisting on shoots, and helping produce content that reaches millions of viewers across social platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct editorial research for videos, podcasts, and original reporting
  • Fact-check scripts, interview questions, and on-screen graphics
  • Assist with data collection, analysis, and data visualization for editorial projects
  • Help write research briefs, background documents, and production materials
  • Pull archival footage, images, and supporting media for stories
  • Assist with camera operation and production on shoots as needed
  • Organize footage, production assets, and editorial resources
  • Monitor current events, cultural trends, and news relevant to upcoming stories
  • Collaborate closely with producers and editors throughout the production process
Experience & Skills
  • Current undergraduate, graduate student, or recent graduate in Journalism, Communications, Political Science, History, Data Journalism, or a related field
  • Excellent research, writing, and fact-checking abilities
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience operating cameras
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace and basic production workflows
  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator or After Effects is a plus
  • Interest in visual storytelling, data journalism, and documentary-style content
  • Passion for culture, music, politics, and explaining how the world works
