I’m looking for a NYC-based documentary-style video editor with motion graphics experience to join a new content studio on a major brand project.
What you’ll be doing :Cutting 60–90 second social-first vertical videos — Instagram and Tik Tok. Handling light animated titles, lower thirds, and subtitling. Working within a fast two-week production cycle from shoot to delivery.
What I’m looking for:- Strong editorial instincts — you think in story, not just cuts
- Experience with documentary or real-world footage (not scripted/polished studio stuff)
- Comfortable with light GFX: animated titles, text treatments, subtitles
- NYC-based with availability to stay close to a recurring monthly cadence
- Premier Pro, After Effects, or equivalent
Compensation: $2,000–$5,000/month depending on volume and experience
