Responsibilities
- Train to learn day‑of package producing skills
- Gather, coordinate editorial, and own all aspects of a day‑of news piece
- Assist the senior producer with all aspects of production
- Coordinate graphics and produce reports and stories
- Pitch relevant, timely, and compelling ideas for day‑of and future stories
- Quality check all video content
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience
- Ability to work under deadline pressure
- Willingness to work in New York Broadcast Center from 10am‑7pm, Wednesday‑Sunday
- Ability to work holidays and additional hours with little or no notice
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
Demonstrates strong skills in coordinating and producing news content, with a focus on quality assurance and timely delivery. Capable of working under pressure and managing multiple tasks in a fast‑paced broadcast environment.
