Fashion Accessories & Packaging Designer

AFH Industries is looking for a highly creative, hands‑on Fashion Accessories & Product Designer with a strong eye for fashion, color, prints, patterns, graphics, materials and embellishments.

We are looking for someone who can take the DNA of a fashion brand and translate it into commercially exciting consumer products and accessories
, along with the graphics and retail packaging that bring the collection together.

Our product categories include fashion tech accessories, phone cases, earbuds, chargers, cables, power banks, wristlets, charms, bags, beauty accessories, travel accessories and other fashion-driven consumer products.

This is not a traditional industrial design or packaging-only position. We are looking for a designer with a strong fashion and trend instinct who can create the entire visual story around a collection—from inspiration and prints to the product itself and its packaging.

This is not a traditional industrial design or packaging-only position. We are looking for a designer with a strong fashion and trend instinct who can create the entire visual story around a collection—from inspiration and prints to the product itself and its packaging.

• Develop fashion-forward product and accessory concepts from initial inspiration through final presentation
• Create original prints, patterns, graphics and color stories
• Translate fashion-brand DNA into consumer products and accessories
• Design across multiple product categories rather than specializing in only one type of product
• Develop coordinating collections where products, prints, colors and packaging all work together
• Design fashion-driven retail packaging and presentation
• Create mood boards, trend boards, color palettes and seasonal concepts
• Incorporate charms, hardware, embellishments, trims, textures and materials into product concepts
• Create product mockups, CADs and presentation boards
• Research fashion, accessories, beauty, jewelry, color and cultural trends
• Work closely with product development, sales and overseas factories to bring concepts to production
• Adapt your creative style to different licensed brands while maintaining each brand's unique identity

• Strong portfolio demonstrating a fashion-driven design aesthetic
• Excellent sense of color, print, pattern, proportion and composition
• Ability to create original prints and repeat patterns
• Strong Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills
• Ability to design both physical products and the graphics/packaging around them
• Strong understanding of materials, trims, hardware and embellishments
• Ability to develop a cohesive collection rather than individual standalone designs
• Comfortable working quickly across multiple brands and product categories
• Strong understanding of current fashion and consumer trends
• Hands‑on designer who enjoys creating—not only managing or directing other designers
• Experience preparing concepts and artwork for production is preferred

Experience designing electronics is not required
. We are more interested in finding someone with an exceptional fashion eye and creative product instinct who can apply that talent across different categories.

A portfolio is required to be considered for this position.
