Graphic Designer, Creative Design / Digital Art
We're looking for a creative and motivated Junior Graphic Artist to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career designer looking to launch or grow their career in the licensed apparel industry while creating graphics for t-shirts, hoodies, hats, and accessories featuring some of today's most recognizable brands.
In this role, you'll create graphics, mockups, and production-ready artwork while collaborating with our design, product development, sales, and licensing teams. You'll gain hands-on experience throughout the product development process while learning apparel production techniques and working on products sold at major retailers across North America.
This is a full-time, in-person position based in our Middle Village, NY office.
Responsibilities- Create original graphics for apparel and accessories
- Develop artwork based on creative direction and licensed brand guidelines
- Prepare production-ready artwork with guidance from senior team members
- Create CADs, mockups, and presentation materials
- Adapt graphics across various garment styles and decoration methods
- Revise artwork based on feedback from licensors, customers, and internal teams
- Organize and maintain digital artwork files
- Collaborate with the design, sales, and product development teams on seasonal collections and new concepts
- Stay current on apparel, fashion, graphic design, and pop culture trends
- 0-2 years of graphic design experience (apparel experience is a plus, but not required)
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field a plus
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
- Strong understanding of typography, color, composition, and layout
- Creative mindset with excellent attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Eagerness to learn apparel production and decoration techniques
- Passion for fashion, licensed brands, entertainment, and pop culture
- Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and creativity
