The Senior Producer executes various types of events locally, nationally, and internationally. From the initial planning stages to the actual event day, this position requires a resourceful candidate who excels in communication skills, creative problem solving, is highly organized, detail oriented and client facing.
This position requires an effective leader who will help bring our programs to life by managing a highly skilled and experienced in-house production team and communicating daily with our clients and partners. The position calls for a resourceful candidate who excels in client management, communication and organizational skills, creative problem solving and an exceptional attention to detail. As a senior producer, you manage mission critical documents such as project timelines, budgets and presentation decks.
You must work well under pressure, have great people skills, and assist with scheduling of key team members, and draft summaries and meeting notes to report back to the Founders.
Project types vary from photo shoots and campaign work to live events and touring shows. A fundamental knowledge of every type of production is essential to this job due to the ever-increasing dynamism and diversity of our projects. The Senior Producer should have a firm grasp on permitting, licensing, venue logistics, audio/video/lighting design, catering, VIP talent management, and complex travel coordination.
This role is Monday through Friday 10:00am - 6:00pm, with early mornings and/or late evenings a few days per week. Travel is essential and often in this job. You must be willing to work a flexible schedule.
Additionally, we seek candidates who are culturally savvy in tune with the worlds of art, design, fashion, music and travel. A background in luxury, media, hospitality and non-profit sectors are considered an asset.
10 years of experience in an event management capacity required.
Responsibilities include:
- Project managing events direct with clients, and at times in partnership with a Gathery Account Director or Creative Director
- Developing and delivering projects from proposal to completion
- Owning all mission critical documents throughout pitches and program productions including:
Activation Decks, Timelines, Budgets, Sponsor Documents - Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project
- Managing operational and administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently
- Providing leadership, motivation, direction and support to your team
- Communicating, maintaining and developing client relationships with professionalism and grace
- Managing and maintaining critical vendor relationships, while identifying new ones to enhance our product
- Creating, managing, and adhering to budgets; executing them through our clear financial process and accounting team
- Attending and leading meetings/presentations
- Sponsorship outreach (at times)
- Domestic and international travel to event venues for walk-throughs, venue inspection and event coordination
- You must have a Passport and Driver's License
- Talent Booking and handling
- Fluency in all Microsoft and Apple Office platforms, particularly Keynote, Excel, Mail, Calendar, and Word
- Basic graphic design skills (proficiency in Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign) are useful, but not required
Full-time Salary range: 95k-115k + Benefits
Open to Fall - Winter Freelance: $500-$600/day
