About the RoleOne of the most respected literary and intellectual publications in the country is hiring a full-time Copy editor to copyedit and fact-check reviews and articles for the print magazine. The publication has long served as a forum for writers and thinkers to discuss books alongside complex issues in culture, society, economics, politics, and the arts.
The position requires some weekend availability before press weeks.
What the Role Covers- Copyediting reviews and articles for the print magazine
- Fact-checking content for accuracy
- Supporting the editorial production cycle through press weeks
- One to five years of copyediting experience, ideally in magazine or book publishing
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Availability for some weekend work during press weeks
