Technical Part-Time Production Associate; aka Overhire) Pace University , NY

The Sands College of Performing Arts at Pace University is seeking experienced part-time theatrical professionals in all areas of live entertainment to serve as Production Associates. The part-time Associates work during the academic semesters for the Mainstage Production season, assisting Performing Arts students, staff, and faculty with production in one or more of the following areas: lighting, audio and visual media;

costume, stitching, and wardrobe; or scenery, painting, and carpentry.
Predominately, we are looking for lighting, audio, and stitching.

In addition to the department supervisor, Production Associates will also be under the direction of the Director of Production.

• Assist students, staff, and faculty with the delivery of Mainstage productions.
• Provide production support in one or more areas of live entertainment, including lighting, audio and visual media; costume, stitching, and wardrobe; or scenery, painting, and carpentry.
• Performs other such duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Exact hours to be determined with supervisor; can range between 5 - 20 hours per week, depending on the production schedule and needs for each production. Some weekend and evening hours are required.
