Location: New York

Own end-to-end design for a core product area, from problem definition through shipped, measured outcomes
Conduct research with members, prospects, and internal support teams
Translate research findings into product decisions
Collaborate day to day with engineers and make design decisions during product development
Design for medically complex, financially high-stakes, and emotionally heavy fertility-care experiences
Contribute to and mature shared design foundations, including patterns, components, and standards
Use research, analytics, and judgement to inform product decisions and challenge assumptions when evidence supports it
Report directly to the Lead Product Designer
Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Member Growth teams

Requirements

5+ years of product design experience
Meaningful experience as the sole or lead designer on a product surface
Portfolio demonstrating problem-solving, design changes, and post-launch outcomes
Ability to operate independently and exercise judgement about when to act or conduct further research
Strong interaction and interface design skills
Fluency in Figma and modern design systems
Experience working closely with engineers in a fast-shipping environment
Genuine interest in healthcare, fintech, or other regulated, high-stakes domains
Familiarity with AI design tools such as Claude Design
Willingness to learn new tools and ways of working
Bonus: experience with complex service or operations tooling, or products involving difficult user experiences
