About Us
Dorsia is at the forefront of hospitality-tech innovation, redefining how the world gains access to the most in-demand restaurants, events, and experiences. By fusing cutting-edge technology with the art of luxury hospitality, we empower our members to secure impossible-to-get reservations while providing operators with unprecedented levels of control, visibility, and revenue optimization.
In 2025, we grew revenue 480% and scaled to 400+ venues across 25 destinations, with the launch of our Culture Calendar extending Dorsia beyond restaurants into the world's most sought-after cultural moments.
Backed by $54M in funding from investors including Index Ventures, Invus, and Red Sea Ventures, and strategic partners including Moon Pay, Major Food Group, and The Dinex Group / Daniel Boulud, we are entering our most consequential phase of growth and reshaping the global hospitality landscape. We're adding exceptional talent to drive what comes next.
About the RoleDorsia is seeking a Video Editor to bring our editing in-house. This is a role for an editor with a real instinct for pacing and hooks, someone who can sit with hours of unscripted footage from a restaurant, an event, or a founder's trip and find the story inside it.
You will cut across the full range of our output, from same-day social clips to polished restaurant short-form and longer-form documentary-style episodes. As we build recurring social franchises like our docu-series, you will help define what they look and feel like. We operate on the hospitality clock, our volume is high, and work goes live quickly. If you want to ship often and own formats, rather than sit inside a long-post pipeline, this role is for you.
What You'll DoEditing & Storytelling
- Edit across a wide range of formats, from fast-turn social clips to polished restaurant films and longer-form documentary-style episodes.
- Cut footage from events, travel, restaurants, office life, founder content, interviews, and behind-the-scenes moments into stories that hold attention.
- Turn long-form footage, interviews, and documentary material into short, highly watchable clips built for social.
- Work from large volumes of unscripted footage and shape it into a clear narrative.
- Bring a sharp instinct for pacing, hooks, music, and selects to every cut.
- Find the shot. Anticipate what the edit needs and capture the B-roll, coverage, and moments that let an editor tell the story.
- Shoot for both vertical and horizontal formats, with an instinct for what holds attention on social.
- Move fluidly between polished produced work and fast, rough-and-ready capture depending on what the moment calls for.
- Handle light editing and quick-turn assembly when speed matters more than a full post cycle.
- Help build recurring formats including mini mic series, docu-style You Tube episodes, event coverage, and other social-first franchises.
- Move between rough-and-ready social content and more polished brand or partner work without losing the Dorsia voice.
- Create and apply captions, title cards, basic graphics, and simple on-screen treatments.
- Test ideas, learn from what performs, and bring that back into the next cut.
- Deliver on rapid turnarounds, including same-day and next-day edits when the moment calls for it.
- Take clear creative direction and execute against it quickly.
- Work closely with our videographer, producers, social, and editorial teams from shoot planning through publish.
- Stay organized across footage, project files, versioning, and handoffs on multiple concurrent projects.
- 2-5 years of professional editing experience, ideally in the 2-4 year range.
- Based in New York, NY or Miami, FL.
- A portfolio showing range across social-first…
