Graphic Designer – Boys', Young Men's & Men's Sportswear

Soni's client, a growing apparel company specializing in branded and private label programs, is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to join its creative team. This role is ideal for a highly creative designer with a strong background in apparel graphics, prints, and trend-driven artwork for the boys', young men's, and men's sportswear market.

Responsibilities:

Develop original placement graphics, all-over prints (AOPs), and seasonal artwork for sportswear and swimwear collections.
Collaborate with the Design Director to create trend-right graphics for seasonal collections and retailer-specific initiatives.
Partner with Assistant Designers and Production teams to prepare final art tech packs for production.
Create polished presentation boards for internal reviews and customer presentations.
Maintain and organize seasonal artwork libraries and showroom materials.
Review strike-offs, trim submissions, and production samples, providing artwork comments and ensuring design accuracy throughout the development process.
Assist in creating look books, trend presentations, and seasonal design layouts.
Work closely with cross-functional teams and overseas manufacturing partners to ensure artwork is production-ready and delivered on schedule.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of graphic design experience within the apparel industry.
Strong portfolio showcasing apparel graphics, placement prints, all-over prints (AOPs), and sportswear artwork.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop on a Mac platform.
Experience creating production-ready artwork and art tech packs.
Strong understanding of apparel embellishment techniques and print processes.
Experience collaborating with overseas factories and production partners.
Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience designing for boys', young men's, and/or men's apparel.
Background in licensed apparel and/or private label programs.
Knowledge of screen printing, sublimation, embroidery, heat transfers, specialty inks, and other apparel decoration techniques.
Strong understanding of fashion trends, color, typography, and graphic storytelling.

Compensation:

Up to $85,000
