- Work closely with Newsmax foreign correspondents to coordinate international news coverage, assignments, and reporting needs.
- Serve as a primary liaison between foreign correspondents and television show production teams.
- Monitor and track breaking and developing international news stories and provide timely updates to the News Director and editorial teams.
- Brief producers, editors, and newsroom leadership on significant foreign news developments and potential coverage opportunities.
- Identify and develop international stories that may warrant coverage across Newsmax programming.
- Coordinate correspondent live shots, taped segments, interviews, and other contributions to Newsmax programming.
- Work with show producers and production teams to coordinate editorial information, video, correspondent contributions, and other elements needed for international news segments.
- Coordinate with Newsmax international affiliates and partners regarding news coverage, content, resources, and developing stories.
- Track major international events, including elections, geopolitical developments, conflicts, diplomatic events, summits, and breaking news.
- Assist with organizing coverage of major international news events, including correspondent assignments, scheduling, production requirements, and logistics.
- Support the development and production of international news segments by providing research, background information, story updates, and other editorial resources.
- Maintain regular communication with correspondents and international partners across multiple locations and time zones.
- Maintain awareness of correspondent locations, availability, assignments, and coverage capabilities.
- Collaborate with producers, assignment editors, and newsroom leadership to ensure international coverage aligns with daily programming and editorial priorities.
- Respond quickly to changing stories and production needs during breaking-news situations.
- Assist with special programming and extended coverage of significant international news events.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
