Peloton Interactive, Inc. seeks Studio Producer (L5) in New York, NY:
Job Duties:
Work in close partnership with Talent Producers, Instructor Strategy, Control Room teams and Studio Operations to turn class and production plans into reality during production in studio. Lead pre-production meetings were required with Control Room teams, production assistants, and the Studio Operations team. Ensure instructors are properly briefed, supported and informed ahead of arriving at the studio, as they prepare to execute their classes, during classes and immediately after shooting.
Acts as the lead editorial decision maker during live and CTC classes. Contribute to editorial meetings to provide input and ideas to greater Producer Team, based on feedback from the live production environment. Support direct reports by identifying growth opportunities and providing targeted coaching to help them advance their careers. Lead and contribute to strategic production initiatives, including the development of new content verticals (e.g., audio-only content) and the integration of new technologies and systems.
Collaborate with teams of on-shift Production Assistants pre- and post- classes to ensure content adheres to Peloton standards for execution (including PAs reviewing classes vs. protocols and identify key moments for highlights, social media and other purposes).
Minimum Requirements:
Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Media Management, Communications, Media Studies, Cinema Studies, Art Management, or closely related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
Special Skill Requirements:
Demonstrated ability with the following (1) Overseeing content integrity from live recording to publishing, managing post-class feedback, submitting precise edits, and ensuring clear and concise content remediations for a flawless final product that meets brand standards; (2) Utilizing Adobe Premiere Pro CC for technical remediations and creative storytelling, identifying high-energy moments for marketing use, and leveraging the Creative Cloud suite to fix production issues and optimize content for digital platforms;
(3) Final Cut Pro - Audio and Video editing; (4) Identifying engaging social moments during live production, proactively collaborating with instructors and the marketing team to optimize clips for maximum engagement, and producing content that transforms workouts into shareable digital events; (5) Strategic management of the editorial content ecosystem, maintaining team documents, collaborating with talent to support instructor needs, and balancing creative and technical requirements for optimized global library content;
(6) Managing pre-production logistics, including instructor preferences and modality-specific fitness standards, serving as the central hub for communication workflows, updates, and troubleshooting technical issues impacting live production; (7) QC protocols.
