Position: Staff Product Designer

This isn’t just another product design role.

At Fanatics Betting & Gaming, you’ll join a small, sharp, startup‑minded team backed by one of the most powerful brands in global sports. We move fast, think big, and build products millions of fans genuinely care about. If you’re excited by ownership, collaboration, and shaping what’s next, not just refining what already exists, you’ll feel right at home.

We’re building entirely new ways for fans to engage with sports, culture, and markets. We’re looking for a Staff Product Designer to lead at the intersection of vision, craft, and impact on the Fanatics Markets team. Prediction markets are one of the most exciting spaces in tech today, sitting at the crossroads of sports, fintech, and trading.

The Team

You’ll be part of a deeply collaborative product trio of Product Management, Design, and Engineering, working side by side to pioneer new fan experiences. We operate like a startup: tight‑knit, high‑trust, and outcome‑driven, while being powered by Fanatics’ global scale, reach, and resources. It’s the best of both worlds.

What You’ll Do

As a Staff Product Designer, you’ll lead high‑impact initiatives from concept through execution. You’ll shape strategy, define experiences, and raise the bar for quality across the organization.

You Will
  • Own and lead major product initiatives, crafting memorable, high‑quality fan experiences with significant scope and influence.
  • Set product experience vision, working with peers to identify opportunities, define outcomes, generate solution ideas, and test assumptions to drive confident decision‑making.
  • Collaborate deeply across disciplines, partnering with product managers, engineers, researchers, marketers, and UX peers throughout discovery, design, and delivery.
  • Bridge the Fanatics ecosystem, working with partner teams to bring elements of Fanatics’ broader digital properties—commerce, ticketing, experiences, and future verticals—into Betting & Gaming products.
  • Translate strategy into reality, visualizing concepts and storytelling them clearly and compellingly for stakeholders at every level.
  • Lead by example, raising the bar for craft, clarity, and collaboration while mentoring designers in your feature area.
  • Drive discovery and delivery in an agile environment, helping teams define user needs, flows, and interactions—and shipping thoughtfully crafted solutions.
  • Facilitate creative collaboration, leading workshops, design sprints, and working sessions that unlock new ideas and align teams.
  • Design with rigor and intention, producing clear user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI grounded in research and data.
  • Partner with UX Research, planning and running qualitative and quantitative studies to inform and validate design decisions.
  • Iterate quickly and thoughtfully, incorporating feedback from research, data, and stakeholders.
  • Advocate for accessibility, ensuring inclusive, usable experiences that meet WCAG guidelines and pushing for continuous improvement.
  • Think through edge cases and complexity, helping engineering teams build robust, scalable solutions.
  • Document and scale design patterns, contributing to UX guidelines, best practices, and shared systems.
  • Measure impact, using user feedback and insights to drive ongoing iteration and improvement.
  • Contribute to design culture, participating in studio hours, crits, and supporting the broader experience design community.
What You Bring

You’re a strategic thinker, strong collaborator, and hands‑on designer who thrives in ambiguity and loves turning complexity into clarity.

You Have
  • 6 years of experience in product, UX, or interaction design.
  • 3 years leading large‑scale initiatives and mentoring designers.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates high‑quality digital products, strong…
