Creative Director, Art Direction

The Creative Director, Art Direction at Monigle Associates Inc leads the visual concepts and art direction for major campaigns, guiding creative work across media while collaborating across strategy, design, client services, and production to protect creative integrity. This role also supports concept and pitches that win new business.

• Own the visual concept and art direction for major campaigns from brief through production.
• Define the aesthetic language, make craft decisions, and help push work beyond expectations across media and throughout the funnel.
• Bring perspective on capturing attention and creating engagement from the start of each project.
• Collaborate with strategy, digital, visual designers, verbalist, client services, studio artists, and production to ensure creative integrity across every handoff and touchpoint.
• Show up where needed, respect timelines, and maintain quality without flattening the work.
• Use AI to explore, visualize, and pressure-test ideas.
• Help develop concept and pitch ideas that win.
• Lead the work, contribute to building business, and support a dynamic culture.

• Experience in a leadership role, or readiness to take the next step in your creative career.
• Ability to translate a brief into a distinctive visual language and carry the vision through with high creativity and quality.
• Capability to rally teams and engage clients with both artistic conviction and collaborative generosity.
• Comfort working at any level of detail, from shoots with clients to refining the smallest activation tactics.
• Reports to the Executive Creative Director and partners closely with the Creative Director, Copy as the creative engine of a growing department.
• 7+ years of creative experience in advertising, with a portfolio showing genuine conceptual range and strong, distinctive visual thinking across formats.
• Exceptional creative taste and a demonstrated passion and point of view across all facets of the work.
• Hands-on proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and AI creative tools including Gemini, Mid Journey, Firefly, Runway, or equivalents.
• Fluency in the modern media landscape, including how visual content performs across platforms and how performance creative and channels shape ideas.
• Experience in health and wellness, financial services, and destination brands is a plus.
• Strong presence to present and represent the work, the group, and the agency with conviction.
• The agency is also hiring for CD, Copy, and can interview teams.

Location: New York State (onsite)

Salary: USD 135, per yearly

Final salary will be determined based on seniority, merit, geographic location, education, training, and experience.
