Senior Event Producer

23 Layers is a New York-based global Event Planning, Production + Design Agency.

Our work brings together creative thinking, thoughtful design, strategic planning, and meticulous production to create experiences that feel current, considered, and dynamic. We’re a collaborative team of producers, designers, and problem solvers who care deeply about the work and are dedicated to doing it well.

Our work spans brand experiences, corporate events, and social celebrations. We work with brands across technology, CPG, retail, advertising, fintech, media, and more - including Google, Airbnb, Glossier, Sephora, Spotify, Slack, and Wrangler.

But this company is growing beyond client events.

Beyond our client work, 23 Layers is continuing to build its own ecosystem of experiences and ideas. From The Assembly - our industry workshop and community for event professionals - to La Retreat
, an immersive gathering designed to bring together women founders, entrepreneurs, and creatives in Italy, we’re creating platforms that extend beyond traditional event production.

We’re looking for a seasoned, strategic, and creative Senior Event Producer to join our team in NYC. Someone excited by the challenge of making ambitious ideas happen, looking to grow within a boutique agency, and helping keep our culture strong.

You’re someone who can move seamlessly between the big picture and the smallest detail, lead with confidence, and help us continue doing great work and moving this company forward.

This is not a role for someone who simply wants to check boxes and follow a production schedule. We’re looking for someone who can see the bigger picture while obsessing over the details. Someone with extensive experience in live event production and experiential who understands what it takes to bring ambitious ideas to life.

You’ll lead the planning, production, and execution of high-touch events and work closely with our internal creative and production teams, clients, and vendor partners to manage timelines, budgets, logistics, and all of the moving pieces that make an event happen.

The right person is organized, resourceful, calm under pressure, and incredibly good at figuring things out. You know that great production is equal parts planning, communication, problem-solving, and the ability to pivot when things inevitably change.

Most importantly, you care about the work. You’re someone who wants to make things better, smarter, and more interesting, and you know how to bring a team along with you.

• Lead end-to-end production of high-touch events, from initial planning through onsite execution and post-event wrap.
• Own event logistics and project management
  , including timelines, workbacks, production schedules, event specs, run-of-shows, and deliverables.
• Manage event budgets from estimates through reconciliation, including vendor quotes, forecasting, budget tracking, and identifying efficiencies.
• Lead vendor relationships across fabrication, scenic, AV, lighting, F&B, rentals, staffing, entertainment, and other production partners.
• Partner closely with creative and design teams to translate concepts into thoughtful, executable experiences while protecting the creative vision.
• Lead internal project communication and teams
