• Thoroughly research trends and competitors, staying up to date within the premium denim space, and maintain reference and inspiration archives for the team.
• Prepare tech packs and assist in communication with the production team on fine-tuning products.
• Constantly assess and reassess sample specs, and maintain measurement charts and fit standards across fits.
• Record and follow through on fit comments after fittings, confirming each change appears in the revised sample.
• Cross-check line sheets, control sheets, and tech packs so style names, fabrics, trims, and inseams agree across all three.
• Track development against the seasonal calendar, flagging styles at risk of missing t/p, proto, or SMS deadlines.
• Track and inventory samples, and prepare them for fittings, line reviews, market, and photo shoots.
• Monitor, manage, and handle all outgoing and incoming design-related mail and packages.
• Assist the designer(s) in daily organizational tasks such as samples, merchandising tech packs, and control sheets, and maintain fabric, trim, and wash libraries.

• Assist the showroom team as needed.
• Help keep the showroom and sample closet organized.
• Support sample pull requests and outgoing shipments.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree.
• Previous internship experience in fashion, and in a showroom setting, is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Excel.
• Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to take initiative and ownership of assigned work.

DL1961 offers a paid internship experience at $17.00 an hour.
