Job Description

We’re looking for a creative, strategic Associate Director, Data Visualization & Content who can turn complex ideas into scroll-stopping, presentation-worthy stories. This isn’t about boring corporate slides. We want someone with a sharp eye for trendy, sleek, and engaging data visualization design—someone who knows how to make research, insights, and big ideas feel fresh, polished, and impossible to ignore. Your primary canvas will be PowerPoint, but your work will shape thought leadership across reports, strategic frameworks, POVs, articles, and social content.

• Rate: $55–60/hour

• Lead the design, editing, and production of thought-leadership reports, research, articles, and digital content.
• Transform data and research into clean, compelling visual narratives using layouts, charts, diagrams, frameworks, and modular design systems.
• Bring a modern, editorial point of view to every deliverable—creating presentations that feel elevated, visually intelligent, and engaging.
• Use sleek, contemporary design to make complex information easier to understand and more memorable for internal and external audiences.
• Help shape how ideas are structured, expressed, and shared across long-form reports, strategic documents, and social content.
• Balance strong storytelling instincts with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring every slide and asset feels intentional, polished, and on-brand.

• 7+ years of experience in content strategy, presentation design, editorial design, or a related field; newsroom experience is a plus.
• A standout portfolio featuring modern, visually engaging data visualization and presentation design—no generic corporate templates.
• Advanced PowerPoint skills and the ability to create polished, high-impact visual stories from the ground up.
• Strong editorial judgment and a talent for turning nuanced information into concise, audience-friendly narratives.
• Experience creating digital and social content, managing websites, and applying SEO best practices.
• Comfort working with research, data, and complex ideas—and making them feel clear, approachable, and exciting.
• Excellent project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative, self-directed, detail-oriented working style with strong communication skills.
