DescriptionWe're looking for a Senior Video Editor to help develop and shape Tom's Guide's growing video content. This hybrid role will report to the Managing Producer.
What You'll DoYou will report into the Managing Producer
- Edit mid and short-form digital content ranging from 90-second clips to 10 minute-plus documentaries.
- Come up with new ways to present our content, and develop video series with graphic treatments.
- Help our in-house editor and a rota of freelance editors manage editing priorities.
- Provide initial rounds of editing feedback based on our best practices and quality control checklist.
- Run ingest for our studio shoots.
- Keep up with the nature of the tech industry's product release cycle.
- 3+ years of experience end-to-end editing of short-form video packages in Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Create detailed rough-cuts and assemblies.
- Provide rounds of editing feedback.
- An eye for detail.
- A passion and understanding of today's viral video content.
- Experience setting up shoots for digital content.
- General knowledge of legal and rights including copyright and consent is desirable.

The expected range for this role is $65,000 - $74,000. This is a hybrid role, working 2 days from the New York office.
