Position: Receptionist $22.50
Location: New York

We are seeking a professional, friendly Receptionist to be the first point of contact for clients and visitors. You will create a welcoming environment, provide exceptional customer service, and support smooth day‑to‑day operations in a fast‑paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet clients and visitors, offer refreshments, and ensure they are comfortable.
  • Answer inquiries from visitors and employees; direct to the appropriate contact.
  • Maintain the visitor system with accurate entries.
  • Coordinate with the lobby desk to ensure smooth building access for all firm functions.
  • Answer and route phone calls, including internal hotlines, and assist with urgent requests (e.g., guest Wi‑Fi, mother’s room codes).
  • Prepare and send welcome packages for internal visitors.
  • Escort visitors to meeting rooms or host locations; provide office tours as needed.
  • Assist with coat check, luggage, taxis, and other guest services.
  • Audit temporary badges, track distributions, and follow up on non‑returned badges.
  • Follow all Forrest Solutions and client policies, including safety procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
Qualifications:
  • 2–3 years of experience in hospitality, hotel/restaurant service, or event planning preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs, and audio/visual equipment.
  • Able to stand for long periods and navigate a fast‑paced environment.
  • Professional demeanor with strong listening and communication skills.
  • Able to interact with clients of all professional levels.
  • Maintain a polished, professional appearance.
