Role: Front desk Receptionist/Customer Service
Compensation: $20.00 to $22.00 hourly (depending on experience)
Shift: Monday thru Friday - Flexible a.m. Start Times
Location: Bronx, NY
Ideal candidate has proven Customer Service coming out of food distribution experience and brings great energy to a team environment. This role supports customers in the placement of orders and helping to solve any order changes or issues.
Requirements- Must have full knowledge of all administrative duty and skills.
- Receive any call that comes into the department with a courteous and respectful manner.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Concentrate on the order at hand to eliminate the possibilities of errors.
- Communicate to the customer any concerns for missing/out of stock merchandise that their requesting.
- Maintain an orderly customer call list.
- Review and revise customer price contracts for particular customers
- Bilingual Spanish is required

- Receive incoming calls from customers, emails, fax, voicemail, and enter orders into the system.
- Run production reports as requested by the warehouse team.
- Inform customer of items not ordered or out of stock per regular ordering process offering substitutions where available.
- Work with outside sales team reporting irregularities and issues. Direct phone calls to the appropriate team members.
- Build and maintain customer relationships.
- Deal professionally on the phone and in person with customers, vendors and fellow employees. Cooperate with other members of the sales and production team to ensure the customer receives an excellent level of service.
- Assist with processing special orders and customer price lists.
- Assist with AR/AP functions.
- Additional projects or tasks may be assigned as needed.
- High School Diploma
- 1 years of food industry experience is a plus.
- Customer service skills required.
- Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English language required. Spanish a plus.
- Strong computer skills required.
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
- Self-motivated, professional ability to multitask, and work well under pressure
