Part Time Teller

Salary: $18 - $22/hour

Schedule: In-office (up to 25 hours a week)

The bank provides commercial real estate, small business loans, and a range of complementary bank products and services.

Responsible for processing customer transactions as well as informing customers about a variety of Bank products and services. Bank Tellers must be able to interact with customers in a professional and knowledgeable manner.

• Process customer transactions, cashing checks and handling deposits, withdrawals, money orders, and cashier’s checks.
• Accurately and efficiently handle cash and balance a cash drawer on a daily basis.
• Provide exceptional customer service in response to customer needs and requests.
• Refer potential sales opportunities and more complex customer service issues to Bank management.
• Help build customer loyalty through friendliness and service.
• Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, Bank policies and procedures, including the Bank Secrecy act, Anti Money Laundering laws, Office of Foreign Asset Control requirements and other regulatory requirements.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to make sound judgments based on given information.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience working with the general public required.
• Prior experience in retail or cash handling roles.
• Computer Savvy.
• Must be customer-focused.
• Must detail-oriented and able to work with numbers quickly and accurately.
• Basic Accounting knowledge a plus.
