What You Will Be Doing

The Account Manager (L2) delivers best‑in‑class client experiences while working with The Collective. The role serves as the primary day‑to‑day contact for Collective clients, identifying strategic, data‑driven upsell opportunities, ensuring seamless execution of programming, and delivering on‑time launches and exceptional execution of Annual Plans. The position can be based in Boise, Idaho, or one of our main regional offices:
Pleasanton, CA;
Itasca, IL;
Fullerton, CA;
Plano, TX; or New York, NY.

Main Responsibilities
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for daily client needs through status calls, deadline monitoring, and cross‑functional collaboration to identify upsell opportunities.
  • Identify upsell opportunities in‑flight and post‑campaign to ensure repeat, growing partnership with the Client Partner counterpart.
  • Advocate for the Voice of the Customer across the organization to build a best‑in‑class Retail Media Network.
  • Maintain accurate CRM hygiene, emphasizing post‑IO signature for accurate revenue tracking.
  • Collaborate with Client Partners to advise and create material for QBRs, Lunch & Learns, and T2T sessions.
  • Deliver customer‑centric service grounded in deep understanding of client and category objectives.
  • Interpret and “story‑tell” with data, delivering wrap‑reporting, insights, and upsell suggestions.
  • Cultivate customer loyalty and retention, focusing on the post‑IO partnership experience.
  • Partner in lockstep with Client Partners to ensure holistic, best‑in‑class service from planning to execution, aligning with client KPIs to achieve renewal and growth targets.
  • Continuously engage the customer, identifying churn risks early and devising action plans.
  • Monitor and report on key metrics in‑flight to keep the customer informed of media investment value.
  • Stay current on the retail media landscape through ongoing learning and development.
  • Travel to client sites as needed.
We Are Looking For Candidates Who Possess The Following
  • 4+ years of Media/Retail/Account Management Experience
  • Strong organization and process‑development skills
  • Strong data storytelling ability
  • Proficient presentation skills, capable of preparing and delivering to audiences up to VP level
  • Ability to foster partnerships with merchandising partners
