About the Role
We’re hiring a Travel Consultant for the U.S. Military and Government team, covering seamless travel management services to federal clients. Part‑time schedules are available.
What You’ll Do- Arrange and book domestic and international business travel for air, road, rail, and accommodations for both individuals and groups.
- Ensure reservations are built according to client standards and preferences.
- Act as a trusted advisor by offering informed and insightful recommendations that provide the best traveler experience.
- Handle a wide range of bookings from simple to complex, including non‑standard, multi‑destination scenarios, ticket exchanges, and complex fares.
- Make changes or resolve any issues that might occur during or before travel assignments, including routine and non‑routine work.
- Conduct analysis and research on travel options, proactively anticipate traveler needs to sell additional services, and use positive telephone service techniques to act on special customer requests.
- Use Global Distribution Systems (GDS) Sabre.
- Operate in a multi‑account, fast‑paced environment.
- 3 or more years’ experience working as a Travel Consultant.
- Experience with GDS (Sabre) across both local and global markets.
- U.S. citizenship required due to Federal Government contract.
- A genuine passion for high‑quality customer service.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Positive, “can do” attitude.
- Willingness to learn and grow.
- Availability for a 24/7 service account with flexible scheduling.
Military experience/certifications may be considered as a substitute for some requirements.
Salary: $46,000 - $52,000 (US national base salary range).
